How we respond when police, prosecutors, courts or other authorities ask for user data.
We disclose user data only on a written demand, with a legal basis, from an authority competent under Mongolian law. We do not disclose on phone, verbal or informal requests.
We check every demand’s basis and scope, and ask for it to be narrowed if it is too broad. We give only the minimum it requires.
Send an official letter to legal@hausi.mn or to [Address], Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. It must state:
Unless a law or court order forbids it, or notice would put someone’s life or safety at immediate risk, we tell the user before we disclose.
If an authority tells us of an immediate risk to someone’s life or health, we may give the minimum data needed to prevent it before the written demand arrives, and require written confirmation afterwards.
When fraud involving a user’s money is confirmed, we preserve the listing, messages and account records and may refer them to law enforcement on the victim’s complaint or on our own initiative.
